I was using them exclusively for tennis in mid-morning sunshine in Florida. While they frames never once hit the ground while playing, I did on occasion inadvertently put them in a pocket with my cell phone. That caused mutual destruction on both the lenses and the cell phone screen. Not bad mind you but, annoying enough to consider a new pair of lenses. Anyway, after reading everything I could stand on the various replacement lenses offered by Oakley for the Half Jacket frames, I went with the Titanium Iridium which was, I believe, the right choice. They make a nice day, beautiful and a beautiful day even better! Great lenses on the courts as greens and yellows appear distinct and illuminated. They have been very durable but over the course of daily wear the lenses had gotten scratched. Rather than hunting for a new set of glasses I purchased replacement lenses in Iridium Ice color. The fit was very tight but taking your time they will fit into the existing frames giving my glasses an entirely new look and extending the life well past what I had expected. The lenses are color neutral and keep out the bright sun in the Arizona desert. I'm glad I bought the new lenses rather than replace the frames which are still in great condition. |
